East Jordan Area Slush was making it tough for quads to get around on Lake Charlevoix, but anglers using snowmobiles were having no problems. Perch and walleyes were keeping anglers busy off Holy Island in
Pickford Area Walleye, perch, and pike fishing has been very good in Munuscong Bay. Jiggers and tip-up anglers all report being successful. Perch fishing is also very good on Lake Michigan at Cedarville and Hessels.
DISTRICT 1 CO Dave Painter is assisting a Wisconsin warden with an ongoing investigation involving a deer-poaching ring along the Wisconsin border. Multiple deer and suspects have been uncovered, and the investigation is ongoing. CO
