From panfish and walleyes for the table, consistent bass fishing action, and trophy muskie opportunities, Lake Waubesa offers a variety of fishing experiences for anglers.

The lake’s largemouth bass population is considered moderate in numbers and excellent in size. Results from a 2019 DNR lake survey showed an average length of nearly 13 inches, and fish up to 19 inches

In the most recent status of the fishery survey of Hubbard, biologists caught very good numbers of walleyes, smallmouth bass, rock bass, and yellow perch, and decent numbers of northern pike.

Surveys of the lake, together with angler catch reports, suggest that Brady’s Run Lake offers better fishing now than it has in decades.
