Last fall, Rep. David Maloney, a Berks County Republican, sponsored House Bill 2073, which would put the Pennsylvania Game Commission under the authority of the Independent Regulatory Review Commission.

For a decade now, foresters and representatives of state, national and privately owned woodlands have been attending Pennsylvania Game Commission meetings, always to talk about deer.
