The Ohio DNR and sheriff offices from northern to southern Ohio investigated three hunter fatalities during the 2013 deer-gun season, which ended Dec. 8.

The absence of a new federal farm bill hurts Ohio farmers, and at the same time, threatens the state’s pheasant, quail, and wild turkey populations, according to state wildlife experts.

According to early reports, hunters experienced mixed results during the 2013 firearms deer-hunting season.
