BATTLE LAKE A jig and minnow is producing walleyes in 10 to 12 feet or 45 to 60 feet at Rush Lake, Otter Tail Lake, and Little Pine Lake. Look for sunfish and crappies over
LAKE MILLE LACS East – Anglers trolling crankbaits along the shallow, shoreline breaks and shallow rock reefs are catching walleyes at night in less than nine feet. Minnows are turning some ‘eyes during the day
LAKE MINNETONKA Walleyes are hitting minnows in 24 to 30 feet throughout Brown’s Bay and Wayzata Bay. Northern pike and bass remain tight to the deep weed edges and they are hitting spinnerbaits or crankbaits.
Crab Orchard Lake Crappie action continues to be good. Minnows and jigs in 6-8 feet of water around the brush should produce a nice mess of fish. Around the rocks and bridges about 10 feet
Chain Walleyes are good in current areas such as bottlenecks of the bridges, most being caught on fatheads or nightcrawlers. White bass good at Marie and Bluff on small spinners. Muskies are consistent on bucktails
Powerton Smallmouth fair on crankbaits and tubes. Some smallmouths being taken with little jigs. A few channel catfish but not very big. Asian carp are showing up in increased numbers in the intake canal and
