Trolling anglers have been into exceptional catches of kings, especially in the offshore waters.

Pier and shore anglers here reported having a great week catching the most fish seen so far this summer here.

Drifting or slow-trolling spinners and crawlers behind a bottom bouncer remains the bread-and-butter approach for putting good numbers in the boat.

The bite has stayed the same in some ways for sure, but we’ve made a few tweaks here and there to increase our big fish bites.
