Rapidly warming water has meant summer patterns have started to develop for most species.

As hot as the weather has been, the walleye bite has been scorching, too. Here’s what anglers are using to land those ‘eyes. And the northern pike continue to hit just about anything.

Panfishing continues to heat up along with the weather.

Sure seems like summer out there, and with that, we’re seeing some accelerated patterns and conditions. Fishing is fun right now – if you make some minor adjustments.

Less-than-ideal weather has been impacting fishing pressure, but fish still being caught.

After being blown off Lake Erie on Memorial Day weekend by gale force winds and high water, anglers are making up for lost time, catching walleyes from Toledo to Ashtabula.

The bass bite has been hot across a good part of the state. And the walleye bite remains solid on Lake Erie.

The shallow-water walleye and pike bite is in full swing.

After the cold front that arrived prior to Memorial Day weekend and carried into last week, weather conditions stabilized a bit more and walleyes seem to be responding in most areas.
