The fishing bite has heated up with recent cooler weather.

Fishing reports have been light and we’re down to just the hardcore walleye and muskie anglers at this point, although those venturing out are doing well.

Hunting is all the rage right now, but there are still fish to be had.

When weather has allowed, water levels and stain are good for steelhead anglers in northeast Ohio, particularly on the Rocky, Chagrin, and Vermilion rivers.

The weather definitely has turned to more winter-like, but plenty of trophy walleyes are being caught.

The fish are biting – here’s where.
