You can catch them on virtually any inland lake as long as they’re there and you can troll around the thermocline.

Color doesn’t seem to matter, and neither does the brand of the spinner jig. They all seem to work well. It’s really all about the presentation.

It may take some effort this summer, but with thought and versatility, anyone can successfully harvest some delicious sunnies.

On Lake Ontario, lake trout fishing has been more consistent and fish are being taken near bottom in 150 to 200 foot of water.

Like the walleyes, smallmouth bass are in various stages on Lake Mille Lacs. Ah, the beauty of fishing for smallies right now on Mille Lacs. Walleyes, too.
