New York Reader Stories: A tribute in the form of hand-loads

For almost 30 years my father-in-law was part of our hunting camp. Getting to the outdoors and sharing those times were precious and very special. It really hits home when he’s no longer with us.
It will be four years ago this coming summer that we said “goodbye.” He was an immigrant from Italy, coming over on “the boat” landing on Ellis Island at about 5 years old, as we were told, and evidently having firearms and shooting in his blood.
