Des Moines, Iowa Iowa hunting and fishing licenses for 2002 are on sale at more than 900 license agents throughout the state. Licenses purchased for 2001 expire Jan. 10, 2002.

New this year is a $3.50 fish habitat fee required for resident anglers age 16 to 65, as well as all nonresidents. For hunting, the habitat fee and state migratory game bird fee each increased from $6 to $8.50. Various nonresident fees also increased. St. Paul The 32nd Annual Minnesota Sportsmen’s Boat, Camping and Vacation Show comes to St. Paul’s RiverCentre Jan. 9-13. The show features a bit of everything for the outdoorsman, including seminars and product exhibitors.

Show hours are noon to 10 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $7.50 for adults, $2.50 for kids ages six to 12, and free to kids under age six.
