LAKE MINNETONKA AREA Most lakes in the area have some type of no-wake regulation in place due to high water, but the fishing has been good. Walleyes are hitting floating jigs and fatheads in the 22- to 28-foot weeds on Lake Minnetonka. Northern pike are chasing anything with a spinner in 15 to 18 feet

LAKE MILLE LACS  East – The morning bite has been strong on the mud flats with Lindy rigs and live bait in 20 to 24 feet and in deeper water during the day. Trolling crankbaits on the edges of the rock reefs in eight to 10 feet has been best for walleyes during the evening hours.

FAIRMONT AREA The trees, channels, and docks on Hall Lake, Budd Lake, and Lake Sissiton are giving up sunfish and crappies in two to six feet.
