It was supposed to be our typical Saturday morning fishing on Salt Fork Lake in Ohio.
The sun was burning off the early mist, and the water lay flat until our pontoon tubes broke the calm. But after only a few casts, an overwhelming, deep-to-the-core exhaustion hit me.
