H2Ohio to fund lowhead dam removal in Clermont County

As part of Gov. Mike DeWine’s H2Ohio initiative, the Ohio DNR (ODNR) will remove a low-head dam on Cloverlick Creek in Clermont County to improve water quality in the stream.
The Cloverlick Dam removal project is a collaboration between the ODNR H2Ohio Rivers Program, Division of Wildlife, Clermont Soil and Water Conservation District, and the village of Bethel.

Time to renew licenses for Ohio hunters, anglers and trappers

Ohio hunting, trapping and fishing licenses for the 2025-26 seasons are available for purchase through the Ohio DNR (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.
Purchasing Ohio license opens endless opportunities to spend time outdoors while contributing to wildlife conservation. The new licenses can easily be purchased at wildohio.gov, on the HuntFish OH mobile app, or at participating retail stores statewide.

Pennsylvania artist wins Ohio duck stamp competition

A painting of hooded mergansers will be featured on the 2026 Ohio Wetlands Habitat Stamp following this year’s stamp design competition.
Gerald Putt’s painting of the waterfowl, known for the beautiful fan-shaped crests on their heads, was chosen as the winner of the 2025 Ohio Wetlands Habitat Stamp design competition, according to the Ohio DNR (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.
