Commentary: Seems like hunters are not so relevant at the Pennsylvania Game Commission these days
The Pennsylvania Game Commission has radically shifted to a corporate technocratic model of wildlife management.
A few years back, from a position piloted by Commissioner Kristen Koppenhafer, then board president, the commissioners were taken completely out of their historic involvement in the doe-tag-allocation process. Their representation of their districts went from bad to worse, culling out hunter input and the societal benefits of deer management.
