The fishing outlook for Lake Erie continues to show boating anglers catching limits of walleyes in the Western Basin through the Central Basin all the way to Cleveland. On inland lakes, anglers are doing well on crappies and yellow perch in places.

Some limited ice fishing was finally possible in recent weeks on lakes in the Northern Tier. River fishing for wallyes was reported to be good in the Allegheny, Ohio, Beaver, Susquehanna, Schuylkill and Delaware. Trout fishing was good in the Little Juniata River, Spring Creek, Fishing Creek, Penns Creek, the Yellow Breeches, the Yoghiogheny River and Briar Creek.
