Ice-fishing trip results in first Illinois bobcat sighting

The author got a good look at one of these shy creatures, but no bobcat photo in a recent ice-fishing outing.

Several days of deer and bird hunting this year did not include seeing a single bobcat, but a weekend ice fishing trip to the Mississippi River resulted in a magical wildlife moment
