Michigan DNR wildlife division staff are opposed to legislation regarding the use of bait barrels for bear hunting, according to DNR Bear Specialist Cody Norton.
House Bill 6242, introduced by State Rep. Phil Green, was a central topic at the Michigan Bear Forum held in St. Ignace on Aug. 22.
