Fending off Father Time: Adjustments to make for the aging bowhunter

Choosing the right bow and accessories as an aging hunter isn’t about surrendering to limitations; it’s about making smart adjustments that keep you confident, accurate, and excited to step into the woods.
Over time, shoulders get a little less forgiving, and muscles weaken a tad, which in turn causes the bow and drawing weights to feel heavier than they used to. Uneven terrain affects older legs a bit more, and sitting for long periods allows muscles to tighten. None of that means the hunt is slipping away. It simply means your equipment should evolve with you.
