For decades, Minnesota farmers, conservation professionals, and local partners have invested tremendous efforts into protecting our state’s water.
The Agricultural Water Quality Certification Program has encouraged many producers to adopt conservation practices they can rightfully be proud of. Those relationships matter, the work matters, and the commitment shown by participating farmers deserves recognition. But there is a difficult conversation Minnesota must be willing to have.
