Steve Carney: Follow the water temps for mid-May walleyes

This angler will be spending a lot of time fishing the farm lakes of central Minnesota for probably the next four weeks. My favorite lakes are the small, 400- to 800-acre lakes in Todd, Grant, and Douglas counties.
Many lakes feature tons of rocks and boulders and surprisingly very little weed growth. Those boulders are the key!
