I’m sure this isn’t unique to Minnesota, but I can’t help but notice as I get older how many “contentious” deer regulation changes we’ve had in our state over the past 20 years.
We saw antler-point restrictions come and go, and many deer hunters were sure these would be the death of our entire hunting tradition. Spoiler alert – that didn’t happen. To this day, the one that takes the cake for me was the drawn-out battle about scopes on muzzleloaders.
