I’ve used a lot of different rifles during my 50-plus years of deer hunting. Early on in my hunting life that was because the only firearm I owned was a Harrington & Richardson Topper Junior 20 gauge shotgun. So, when deer season rolled around I carried whatever rifle my Uncle Cecil handed me.
That was fine with me; I was just happy he or my brother-in-law Don took me afield.
