Wisconsin’s Spooner fish hatchery gets a facelift

Thanks to the help of a Hayward painting company, Phase 1 of restoring a Wisconsin fish hatchery building in Spooner, built in 1913, is now complete.
Crew members from Chris Schobert Painting, of Hayward, donated their time and equipment in putting the finishing touches on the building located on Hwy. 70 in Spooner across the highway from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Northern Region headquarters.
