Jesse Ashton, Polk County conservation warden since 2014, received an email from Polk County Land and Water Department, the county’s environmental section involved in zoning and water quality. The land and water department was alerting Ashton that a Bone Lake resident at the address provided in the email had likely treated off-shore vegetation with a herbicide.
