Where does all of that fish waste go after processing a day’s catch?

The privately owned commercial fish cleaning houses and campgrounds contacted for this story either spread out their customer’s fish waste and covered them with wood chips, bury them in pits under the soil, or use dumpsters to have them hauled off-site for processing into compost or disposed of at a landfill.
