More young muskies will be stocked in Wisconsin lakes during 2025 than initially planned thanks to a $75,000 donation to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) from the Musky Clubs Alliance of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin’s Natural Resources Board accepted the conservation group’s check during its meeting in May.
“This donation will be used to support the spring egg collection and pond fertilization for early muskellunge rearing,” said DNR Secretary Karen Hyun in a thank you letter to the club.
