Jeffrey Frischkorn: Losing a fishing buddy is never easy, especially when that friend is also a brother

As a wise cousin said to me recently: “Before there were friends, there was family.” That’s true whether the family member is Clark Griswold or Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon’s “Vacation” franchise.
Before I had friends, I had Rich as family. My older brother, to be specific. By three years. Much later in our lives, Rich became a combination of each. Pity we didn’t accomplish both sooner. And now, well, Rich is gone. Along with it, is lost a sounding board for things fishing and shooting.
