Grand Rapids, Minn. The Grand Rapids area fisheries office of the Minnesota DNR has scheduled a public informational meeting to gather input on the future management of designated muskellunge lakes in Itasca County.

Those lakes include Deer, Moose, Little Moose, Spider, and North Star. They’ve been managed as designated muskie lakes since the 1960s, according to Chris Kavanaugh, area fisheries supervisor.
