Clear or dark water for muskies today? Here’s how to choose

Of course large muskies can be found in clear or dark/stained water, but your lake choice should be determined by the overall conditions at hand. Perhaps the biggest question a muskie angler faces each morning is which lake he should fish. Certainly he should consider the lakes that have been producing for him lately, as well as where he historically has success during the current water temperature.
But the most important factor is the color of the water of the lakes being considered.
