There are thousands of deer laying on, or beside the highways of Pennsylvania. That is an irrefutable fact, but it should not be. This also brings many “scavengers” to the highway that may eventually find the same fate as the deer, and they, too, present a hazard to motorists.

“PennDOT removes dead deer from state roads. You can report a dead deer by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD and giving the location of the carcass.”
