Robert Alan Knoop, Jr., – “Bobby” to a legion of outdoorsmen and women he affected – died on Nov. 2 at the age of 67 after a life where he spent time helping others experience the outdoors.
The former co-owner of a fishing and hunting guiding service, Knoop found his niche in life over the past 26 years as a founding member and then president of the Passing Along the Heritage Foundation, which specializes in providing hunting and fishing opportunities to people whose lives would otherwise be extremely limited in such endeavors.
