White bass migrations occur throughout Ohio. The average migration varies with location (river or lake tributary) and latitude. It starts as a trickle. Catchable numbers arrive as April turns into May. I try to arrive during a peak, which is difficult to predict from a long distance away.
Temperature and rainfall have a strong influence on the strength of the migration.
