Learning to shoot a handgun accurately is generally more challenging than becoming proficient with a rifle or shotgun. Whether it’s a micro compact pistol, full-sized semi-automatic or revolver, handguns are short, are usually designed to have heavier trigger pulls, and are inherently subject to more human-produced error due, in part, to having shorter barrels and sighting planes.
