Harrisburg – As state lawmakers continue wrestling with House Bill 97 – the anti-poaching measure – it appears restitution for illegally-killed game will stand, after all. But amendments may be added to soften penalties for hunters who unintentionally break the law – even those who claim they killed two deer in one incident by mistake.
