In one area, near the minnow tanks, was the fresh smell of highly aerated water. Along another wall was the dry, slightly acrid smell of the cricket enclosure. And, still another area, where the refrigerators full of night crawlers, red wigglers and gumbo worms were stored, a nebulous undefined aroma of damp soil.
