Illinois remains among top five in archery deer harvest

Illinois ranks fifth in the nation when it comes to percentage of deer harvested by bow or crossbow, according a report by the National Deer Association.
NDA based its analysis on the 2022-23 season and put the Illinois archery harvest at 43% of the state’s total harvest that season.
