For as long as Patrick Schmalz can remember, fishing has been a part of his life, including as he grew up in southeast Wisconsin.
But it wasn’t until he was in college, studying to become a pharmacist, when he realized he could turn that fun, fishing pastime into a career.
“I didn’t even know you could get into this for a field. I just grew up doing stuff like this. I was lucky to have my grandfather and my dad take me fishing because I love it,” Schmalz said.
