Bob Gwizdz: Beating the brush is part of the experience when going after Michigan’s brook trout

There are guys who are bass fishermen and guys who are walleye fishermen and guys who are muskie fishermen, and though most of them will fish for other species given the circumstances, most will tell you they’re pretty true to their first loves.
Then there are guys like Chuck Emmert, who is a brook trout fisherman. And not just a brook trout fisherman, but a small stream brook trout fisherman. That’s an entirely different breed.
