After being closed to the public for nearly a decade, Oconto County’s Green Lake Park is back in business, thanks to a 25-year agreement between the Mountain Historical Society and U.S. Forest Service.
The local historical society will operate and maintain the park, located south of Mountain at 13322 Hwy. 32. The USFS had operated the park until closing it in 2015 due to budget cuts.
