Steelhead regs stir controversy in Michigan

In 2021, the NRC, in a proactive move to address declining steelhead populations, reduced the daily bag limit from three fish to one between March 15 and May 15 on sections of Bear Creek, and the Manistee, Pere Marquette, Muskegon, Manistique, and Carp rivers.
