Mankato hosts its first Minnesota Governor’s Fishing Opener

The 75th Minnesota Governor’s Fishing Opener took place in Mankato last weekend. Gov. Tim Walz was absent, attending his daughter’s college graduation in Montana, but the weekend was filled with plenty of events and activities over three days.
