Lake Ontario’s salmon stocking will increase

The New York Department of Environment Conservation made the announcement at a recent meeting of the Lake Ontario Fisheries Advisory Panel in January. The increase will bring New York’s stocking to just under one million king salmon (985,180 fish) from the Salmon River Fish Hatchery in Pulaski.
