Major League Fishing pro Matt Becker will compete for the largest single payout in bass fishing history on Old Hickory Lake near Nashville, Tenn., Oct. 28 to Nov. 1.
World Bass Enterprises’ The Champions will feature the top 25 anglers from B.A.S.S. and MLF’s Bass Pro Tour vying for a first-place payout of $1.25 million, and $3.25 million total. It’s a long way from the waters of southwestern Pennsylvania, where Becker learned to fish.
