Whenever the Bassmasters Elite Series comes to Plattsburgh, N.Y., I typically try to make it up there at least for a day. Covering the tournament allows me the opportunity to get new photos of the current competitors, and talking with B.A.S.S. Conservation Director Gene Gilliland is always at the top of my list.
It’s less than a two-hour drive for me and being that SUNY Plattsburgh is my college alma mater, well, it’s always nice to take a ride down Memory Lane.
