Nearly 16 years ago on a secluded back road in Adams County, Pa., Wildlife Conservation Officer Dave Grove was shot and killed while investigating a poaching incident.
He was alone. If Grove had someone with him, perhaps the outcome of that night on Nov. 11, 2010, would’ve been different. The details of that tragic night reaffirm just how important it is for law enforcement to work in pairs.
