It was a rainy morning on the waters of New York’s lower Niagara River and on the famed Niagara Bar on Aug. 7, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of the participants of the Fifth Annual Reel Impact Fishing Tournament hosting by Catching Dreams – a non-profit organization providing important fishing therapy for pediatric cancer patients and their families.
A total of 14 sponsored boats hit the water by 8 a.m. out of Lewiston, all with the intent of catching fish … and aid in the program of catching dreams to help create some normalcy for kids suffering from cancer and other debilitating diseases.
