Longtime forester Mike Amman appointed to fill Wisconsin Natural Resources Board vacancy
Mike Amman is the newest appointee to the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB) and he admits that his best qualifications for the job are his “dirty boots.”
Amman, 48, of Ashland, works as the county forester for the Bayfield County Forestry and Parks Department, managing the 180,000-acre county forest.
“I’m really excited to be on the board. As a born-and-raised Wisconsinite, I have a strong connection to the outdoors – invested in its natural resources,” he said.
