If your home was burned down, were you harmed? The answer is, of course, yes.
Left or right, red or blue, there are some things we can all agree are simply true. Yet the federal government has just ruled that doing the same thing to a threatened or endangered species – destroying the only home it has left – no longer counts as “harm.” Not legally, anyway. Not anymore.
