Efforts aim to keep invasive gobies out of popular Lake Champlain

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and New York State Canal Corp. have revised the Rapid Response Plan (RRP) that was collaboratively implemented by the two state agencies in 2022 in order to continue to mitigate the spread of the round goby, an aquatic invasive species now in the Hudson River, into the Lake Champlain Basin.
